The Main Control Interface and Taskbar icon create new notes and notify you of reminder and serve notes. They also contain a menu.

Main Control Interface:

Click the white area to create a new note.
Click the arrow button in the upper right corner to slide out the Menu.
Drag from the blue area to move the Main Control Interface.

Taskbar Icon:

Click icon for new note.
Right-click to slide out menu.

You can control whether you want to see the Main Control Interface or the Taskbar icon on your desktop, or both, in Miscellaneous Settings.
